Do you think a mother/child bond is the strongest bond there is?
I've heard people say there is no stronger bond than that between a mother and child, is this true? I have an identical twin sister and I've always felt the strongest possible bond with her, its like I can read her mind sometimes and feel her emotions and pain, I've always done everything with her too. I'm pregnant with a daughter now (my first baby) and I don't feel much of a bond yet...Will I feel different after I have the baby and feel stronger for her than my sister?
To me yes, I lost my mother and feel as though my other half is gone even though I have a great husband who is indeed my other half there is nothing like mother and daughter.And I feel as though there is no doubt that I will have that connection with my child through all the good and bad. my mother was my life and my child will be my life. My mom was a twin and they had a great connection but I know my mother's bond with me was just as strong if not stronger.
Once you look into your baby's eyes....
